Once you have decided on the sectional garage door brand, the colour, style and profile that will best match the exterior of your home, we will arrange a quotation. Once you accept the garage door quotation, we will then place an order with our manufacturer to process the paperwork and start the manufacturing process. The manufacturing process can take as little as 2 weeks but can take as long as 2 months, this will vary on the specific manufacturer that you choose and the demand within the marketplace at the time. Some of our clients will pick a sectional garage door manufacturer purely on the ability to deliver and install ASAP. Once the sectional garage door has been manufactured we will immediately pick up the door and arrange for installation within one to two weeks.
What is a Sectional Garage Door
A Sectional Garage Door is one type of three doors available to enclose your garage. They are the most popular of all three styles. The three types are Sectional Garage Door, Tilta-door and Roller Door.
A Sectional Garage door is essentially a new model of the old-style tilt door. Instead of having one entire door moving in one piece, a sectional garage door is made up of 4 to 5 individual panels (approx 500mm high by 5400mm wide/double). Each section has its own roller guides that are fitted to a track and each section is connected to the next section via hinges.

Sectional garage door prices are dependant on the brand, profile and material you ultimately choose. As an example, you can have a garage door track made of steel/zinc or powder-coated aluminium. There are many other costs and anomalies but as an average for a colorbond steel door, we work between the following: Single Garage Door Price $1,600 to $2,600. Double Garage Door Price $2,500 to $5,500. *Note the above mention is an indicative price guide only and will depend on a full inspection of the garage door opening for final quotation.
What type of garage door is the cheapest!
If you are truly after the cheapest garage door we would recommend sticking with one of the more common brands that the builders use. A cheap garage door will have minimal colour options and minimal profiles to select from but will be economical on the budget. It will be made of colorbond steel. The two brands that come to mind are Centurion Garage Doors and Steel-Line Garage Doors.
