The Best Roller Doors

Selecting the best roller door yourself will require a decent amount of research. Through our experience at our showroom, we can share and show the differences between roller door manufacturers.

Our recommended roller doors feature engineering and strength not typically seen by most brands. The pictures below show some of the differences a quality garage door will offer.

The red arrow show the screw in points. There is one screw in point to the roller door every 700mm. This particular door had 9 screw in points, we see other manufacturers with 3 in total

The nylon glide cord is set on a metal base. Most manufactures do not do this!

All roller doors are not the same, that is why having the differences pointed out before you buy is a wise investment for your time and money! Come and see us at our Showroom today!

The benefits of a Perth Made Roller Door!

Most of the roller doors we recommend are made right here in Perth. Because they are local, there is generally minimal freight and weight times.

  • Lower price point

  • Faster manufacturing process

  • Less moving parts

  • Easier to service

  • Can be designed for residential or commercial & industrial openings

  • Can be upgraded, built and installed for high wind areas

  • Can be easily opened manually without a motor

  • Quieter system as they have no hinges (unlike a sectional garage door)

 Perth Roller Doors (Advantages/Disadvantages)

A roller door is essentially a rolling piece of flexible steel that offers the easiest way to enclose your home's storage needs. It’s advantages are it doesn’t take up a lot of ceiling space area or cost as much as traditional garage doors!

You can choose from many different colours and styles to suit your home. With housing and storage space at a premium, a quality manufactured Perth roller door allows you to hang things like Kyaks or surfboards without the roof area being used because it rolls up directly above the garage door opening. A typical sectional garage door relies on the roof area to slide back and forth to allow a vehicle to access. Hence this roof area is not usable with traditional sectional garage door systems.

Roller doors are also great as they can be installed with or without a motor. This is very helpful when the power is out, but also great if you want to save money or perhaps add a garage door motor in the future.
