How to measure up for a New Roller Door!
A new roller door requires 5 important parts to be measured accurately to ensure your roller door fits your garage door or shed opening. As a general rule a roller door rolled up, will measure 450mm high. If you do not have at least 350mm of headroom you may require a colorbond pelmet to hide the roller door from the street. A colorbond pelmet would hence need to be quoted and budgeted for. A manual roller door can be fitted in areas as tight as 100mm side room, BUT if you want a roller door motor installed you will require 150mm side room.
